Why We Built This Site
Alabama gives the public broad access to many public writings through Alabama Code Section 36-12-40, but court records still depend on the office that created the file. The Cullman County Circuit Clerk handles Circuit Court and District Court records. Probate Court handles estates, wills, adoptions, commitments, guardianships, name changes, recording, licensing, and marriage certificate recording. City of Cullman Municipal Court keeps city-only municipal records, while the Sheriff's Office and Alabama agencies handle different jail, custody, driver, and public-safety channels.

Only the issuing court or government office can provide a certified copy with an official seal. We can point you to the right office, but the document has to come from them.
